Finally getting around to reviewing Brooklyn's, of which we seem to visit weekly for easy takeaway work week dinners! But lets be honest, its good no matter the time or occasion! The food at Brooklyn's speaks for itself. Always fresh always delicious, and easily the best NY style pizza in the area. Honestly though the strombolis and calzones are where its at for us. Always cooked to perfection and never short on fillings, they are truly one of the best food items in Denver. Highly recommend the veggie stromboli. Plus, the dough! The dough, the dough, the dough! Its perfection. Always cooked perfectly golden brown, with the crunchy exterior and soft interior. I am convinced that the secret to their food is the dough. However, I think our love goes far beyond the amazing food and instead is a testament to the staff, and how they operate the restaurant. Where I feel like many restaurants these days are amazing one day and completely lacking the next, Brooklyn's should be the poster child of consistent quality. Their food never has an off day and their staff never have an off day. We know every time we order from them that our food and service will be of the same five-star quality that we always get. Couldn't recommend Brooklyn's Finest Pizza enough to anyone looking for great food and friendly punctual service!

I've tried a lot of pizza spots in my lifetime. I must say this was one of the better ones! The main issue I had with this place was that my food was cold, but this is due to us traveling about 20 minutes for take out. I can't blame them for this, it was good even when it was cold! Now onto the food! My wife and I ordered the meat combo, one pound of wings and the free garlic knots with the check in. The pizza was pretty good, I personally didn't find it amazing but it was downright delicious. It hit all the spots of my love for meat and when this was accompanied with the wings... oh me oh my. The wings had a soft crunch with the dry rub adding an amazing taste. I had ordered buffalo sauce on the side to dip it, but this was my mistake. The buffalo sauce was your basic buffalo sauce, so it had it's good kick at the expense of absolute quality. Still, the wings by itself were hands down the star of this review! My wife is personally a fan of garlic knots. I was surprised to hear that she did not love the garlic knots. The were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. But the flavor simply wasn't there for her :( Overall it's an amazing location and I would recommend any pizza lovers to come and give it a shot! Wing lovers, please come!

Full disclosure, I am actually a big fan of Chicago style deep dish pizza, and that is my go-to style, but good options for that in Colorado are few and far between. New York style pizza, if done well, is usually awfully good. If done poorly, it is just a hot circle of garbage that is not worth the calories and carbohydrates. I have seldom found NY slices as good as the ones they sold out of the back of the Brown Jug, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Big Bill's NY Pizza is probably my favorite New York style pizza place in the Denver metro area. However, it is a long haul all the way down to south Centennial, barely shy of Highlands Ranch, just to grab some decent slices. I am happy to report that those of us closer to the northwest end of the Denver area have a solid option here with Brooklyn's Finest Pizza. Four of us visited on a moderately busy Saturday night. The staff were friendly, bordering on sassy. With Yelp check-in, we received a free order of garlic knots. Usually I'm not overly impressed with garlic knots, but these were pretty damn good. Crunchy on top, nice and chewy, lots of garlic, with a decent marinara on the side. We ordered two pies, a plain Jane pepperoni, and the Empire State (double meatball, red onion, fresh garlic, and ricotta, mozzarella cheese). The Empire was pretty good. Meatball is not the most exciting meat, and this one was no different. The ricotta was fairly generous, so it tended to dominate the flavor. The crust was quite good. I was surprised with how much I enjoyed the pepperoni offering. On this one, with just one meat and the spicy red sauce, the quality of the pizza really became apparent.  They also have a pretty good selection of bottled beers, and one of those infinite choice soda machines. I am pretty sure I will be back to try a different pizza, and maybe a different type of food from their varied menu.
