Review 1:

My friend and I love the Pizzeria Paradiso in DuPont so we were excited to try the Georgetown one, which has more days of happy hour and more seating. The upstairs bar did not even have room to stand when we arrived, but there was one small table available in the games room. I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio (HH $4), Crostini (HH $7), and the 9" Make-Your-Own Pizza w ricotta, tomatoes, and prosciutto (HH $12). My friend and I split the Crostini appetizer, which is very flavorful and rich. The pizza at this location just wasn't as good as the DuPont circle location sadly. The crust was flatter and less perfect. The toppings also didn't seem as fresh. I am not sure exactly why it wasn't as good, but I definitely left the crust ends behind here. The bartender in the games room was great, and we had great service throughout the meal. Photo of Pizzeria Paradiso Georgetown - Washington, DC, United States. Sometimes, the heart wants what the heart wants.  And on a Monday evening in unseasonably warm January weather, this lady heart wanted some pizza.  Insert Pizzeria Paradiso to the rescue!  I had heard about this small and local chain on one of the many "must visit locations" that frequently gets published regarding the DC dining scene, and was thrilled to have an excuse to indulge myself.  Being a Monday evening in Georgetown, it wasn't terribly crowded on our visit and no reservations were required.  This location (being the only one of theirs I have visited) has a nice bar area seating at the entrance, with a lovely view of their baking oven prominently displayed for all locations within the establishment.  We opted for a traditional Margerita pizza, the 12" size (8 slices) - for note: the 9" size are 4 slices per our server.  The waitress checked on our table frequently and was able to answer all our questions about their draft beer options (of which they are plentiful!) in addition to their large list of cans/bottles.  I stuck with a lovely red wine this evening while my partner had a beer.  I ordered us the "Paradiso Salad" which we requested to arrive before the food and it was delightfully refreshing and simple, just what we were in the mood for.  The pizza arrived not too long after - the perfect thin crust that makes you not think twice about finishing the entire pie.  So glad for stopping by and giving this a try, absolutely no regrets on this!  I also spotted they seem to have several events throughout the month, in addition to some rotating specials!

We were visiting our daugther and she suggested this pizza place in the Georgetown area. The locale is very nice; modern but with a classic italian feel. There are many public parking garages within a three block radius. The staff (Matt was our server, tall guy with a "radio voice") very friendly and accomodating. For drinks I wanted their El Dorado rum daiquiri, but wanted it in a bigger glass than usual; Matt saidno problem. My daugther is vegan, Matt was able to provide many options. I ordered their Quattro Formagio pie with pepperoni. It was fricking outstanding!! Hands down the best pizza I'd had. Very cheesy, with a nice garlicky taste, and very crunchy. Delicious!! My daughter and wife were equally pleased with their food, tho I can't remember what they had.
