Review 1:

VEGAN OPTIONS - Yes Let me start by saying that my husband and I plan our road trips to Canada around the fact that this place is closed on Sunday and Monday. It's that good. We discovered this spot about 7 years ago, and have been road trip regulars ever since. We always stop for a pie on our way through Detroit. We often even take one to go on our way back home. Once again, it's THAT good! We've seen this place grow into their expanded space in recent years, with the addition of a host to seat the diners, dedicated wait staff, a full bar, bigger bathrooms, and waaaaay more seating! We are delighted that the pizza has remained consistently delicious throughout the transition. This is not the typical Detroit style pizza. It's not New York style. It's not Chicago style. It's Supino style. And it is delicious! The crust is nice and thin, with the right amount of elasticity. The sauce is delicious - flavourful and tangy, with nice seasoning. The cheese blend has a nice taste and consistency - it's never too chewy, and it's never too much.I always get a red pizza with cheese, mushrooms, plum tomatoes and kalamata olives. This combo is perfect for me, and I like to add fresh basil on the side. The staff here is top notch. Many team members have been working here for years. It's part of what makes this place extra special - their dedication and talent shines both in the kitchen and in the front of the house. This pizza spot is *DEFINITELY* worth going out of your way for. Thank you, Supino. Your delicious consistency over the years is appreciated and adored!

Whats not to like? Its in Eastern Market, so parking is readily available, and now they finally have space to eat inside since they took over the other space next door. Its a different kind of pizza then what youll normally find around Detroit. The pizza toppings are different and more on the uncommon side. Example- the bismarc pizza, mozzarella, proscuitto and an egg. They also offer white pizzas, so no sauce, which i prefer when i want a chewy crust. Enter in the Smoky, prosciutto, roasted garlic, mozz, gouda and ricotta. However, youll pay more for the pizza then at other places. You might also wait longer, for a place to sit AND for the pizza if you get it to go. They do offer slices as well. You still have to wait for them, so not sure why on that. But there is a different pizza every day and i enjoy the $3.50 slices. They are quite large. But supinos is not for everybody. I enjoy it every now and then.

We tried three different pizzas to which all of them were out of this world delicious!!!! Quattro Formaggio, Bismarck, and the Margherita in that order. The location is perfect located right in the heart of downtown eastern market, and the windows along with the white decor give the inside an aged welcoming look. There can be a bit of wait depending on the time of day so be prepared but, it's not too bad of a wait. The Formaggio has multiple cheeses so it has a very unique taste from a standard cheese but it's flavors are out of this world. I still choose to stick with a standard cheese pizza. The Bismarck tasted like breakfast on a pizza sandwich on a pizza with an egg placed in the center. As interesting as sounds it's definitely worth a try! Especially if you can't decide between breakfast or dinner. Lol The Margherita was my favorite here and my favorite in the meteor DETROIT area. There's been a lot of pop up pizza places the past few years and this Margherita blows them all out the water!! Perfectly charred underneath in their brick oven, the right amount crust thickness, NOT a lot of flop, and the right amount of sauce. DON'T FORGET TO PURCHASE YOUR 'SUPINO' TEE SHIRT!!! #DetroitVsEverybody
