Review 1:

I would love to give these folks a 5 for the food...bc it is simply FANTASTIC!!! I've had the pesto pizza (delicious despite being wayyy overcooked, areas of the crust were actually blackened), pepperoni pizza, cheese pizza, turkey sub (wow, the bread!!), and the garlic knots are 100% terrific.  The ranch however is awful (tart/sour/weird- ranch snobs will get me), which is a staple of my pizza experience.  Easy fix, make it from scratch!! (I often do and it is sooooo much better).  I try not to make it a habit though, bc I end up with a tub of ranch awesomeness....and not so great for the waistline.  Anyway, if ranch means nothing to you, this place is 5 stars ALL the way baby:) !!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give 4.75 stars to allow for the unpleasant ranch (went in the trash) I would, but that isn't how Yelp works.  Many other pizza places with inferior food quality have the ranch situation on point.  YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

So wanted to give them a better review but just can't. Walked in wasn't greeted, I am ok with that, not great with it but o.k. I ordered a soda and the hubby water. I went with the eggplant parmesan and he went with a margarita pizza. The waitress who was also running the register and asking the phones asked if he would like would like a balsamic drizzle on it and he said sure. She mentioned nothing about it being an extra charge. We were given garlic knots almost immediately and then the food roughly 15 minutes later. When she brought us the food, she brought me my dish and then tried to give my hubby chicken parmesan. What!! She looked at us like we had two heads when we told her he ordered pizza. She went back and checked said it was still in the oven and it would be out in 5 minutes. At that point I started timing it and it was 16 minutes and I was done with my meal and asking for a box when his pizza was delivered. No apologies. Once she brought us the check we realized she charged us for 2 sodas and an additional amount for the drizzle we didn't expect. I would have enjoyed the food more if I was able to eat it with my hubby at the same time. Mistakes happen just be honest, she clearly put in the wrong order. Also everytime she came to the table, she insisted on calling my husband dear. It was a little too much for my liking. The food taste was good overall, the sauce for the knots and eggplant had good flavor and the drizzle made the pizza. I am hoping it was just not a good day and their service is usually better but when I only order two drinks and two dishes and there is a problem with one dish and one drink, it's not good service in my book.

I've had Milo's a few times now over the years so I guess it's time for a review. I've mainly had delivery from here for the most part, but I have been in a couple times to get takeout. We usually get pizza from Milo's because that's what my lil dude likes, but I have tried the sandwiches a couple times and they are pretty good. They have pretty tasty bread here and the sandwiches are a good size, at least they are for me. They have a fairly good option of sandwiches to choose from compared to other pizza places in the SDSU area and they usually have a combo deal going on. The cheese pizza here is pretty good. I'm not really a big topping person, but the lil dude loves pepperoni and he loves the pizza here. If we're in the area he likes to stop by and get a couple slices to go because it's his weakness. The service is always friendly and the food is always earlier than promised, not much more you can ask for. Ohh yeah, I think there's a check in offer for a free slice of pizza :-)
