Just ordered Postmates from here because it's the same cost as delivery from Dominoes too so I figured I'd give them a try. I got a 7' pizza with their chicken and two veggie toppings and extra cheese. I specifically asked on the order that the pizza be naked longer and well done, but like most pizza places they never listen. I got a pizza that was only barely cooked enough that the bottom of the crust was solid. Halfway through and under the cheese is raw dough, barely melted cheese on top and my mushrooms definitely don't look like they've seen any heat. I would have gladly waited 15 more minutes for better presentation. The ingredients are good and I like that it's basically a thin crust pizza (I hate pizzas where I feel like I'm just eating a bunch of bread with cheese on it). I want a crunch or you messed up. And they messed up. Thankfully I have a toaster oven that fits up to a 12 inch pie so I fixed their problem. Raw dough is just nasty. If they would have just cooked it long enough it's good and cheap enough to get 4 stars. Definitely not a fan of the mushrooms. They're canned. Which makes me question what else is from a can when it could be fresh and still relatively cheap? I liked that I could get jalapeño poppers as a side instead of just wings like most places but I didn't get ranch to dip them in so that kinda sucked. Over all I'd say meh when it comes to pizza. Topp'd just down 39th on Rainbow may not deliver but for the same cost you'll get to build your own pizza the same size with fresh ingredients. I'll give them a go for their Mediterranean fare sometime.
Where do I even begin talking about how fantastic my experience was here?! I ordered a pepperoni pizza, lamb gyro with fries, falafel and pita with hummus plate for myself and my brother to share. The fries were deceptive. They seemed very simple at first, but were hot and fresh and seasoned well. The pizza had a great toppings to sauce ratio but the amount of cheese was the superstar of this show. Simply fantastic! Lamb was tender and full of flavor and went with the sauce and vegetables near perfectly. The falafel and pita were both every bit as good as they should be... But what blew me away, food wise, more than anything I had was the hummus. Clearly fresh, in house hummus that is so full of flavor that it should be criminal. The service is also worth noting! Bright smiles, prompt service, and an eagerness to do right by the customer. Was even given the chance to taste the shawarma. I instantly regretted not buying it for my meal instead of my gyro. Don't misunderstand, the gyro was great, like I said before, but maaaaaaan that shawarma! So good! You owe it to yourself to, at the very least, try this place! You will not regret it for a moment!
Order : gyro with onion rings , Buffalo chicken pizza, baklava. Positives : price and gyro with onions. The total order came out to 14 bucks. As a student, this is a pretty great deal! The gyro was great.... Not exceptional, but eh, this isn't one of those places where I can expect fresh meat to come off the skewer. The sauce was alright. None of those fancy fillings, just onions, peppers and tomatoes. The onion rings were lightly seasoned... Not too salty or whatever, and they were crunchy. Would order again! Bad : pizza and baklava. Pizza smelt kinda funky, the cheese wasn't melted and the crust was really soggy. I'm not a pizza snob or anything, I mean, heck, I find papa John's pretty good to sort of set where my standards lie. The chicken smelt kinda funky. Didn't eat any of it... Straight to the bin. Baklava... Honestly, too sweet and nowhere near flaky. The pistachios were there, but they smelt kinda old. I've had way better at other places... Halal guys for instance. Location : right on main Street, pretty easy to find. There's like two tables where you can sit down, but it's more of a take and out you go kinda deal. Dude at the counter was real nice though!
