Review 1:

Always love this place. I've never had a bad pizza here. Today we had the Brooklyn bridge with sausage, roasted red peppers and ricotta cheese on thin crust. It was delish!!! I recommend for any red sauce pizzas to always ask they put it back in a few more mins though. Keeps center of pizza from getting soggy.   The prosciutto and arugula white pizza is by far THE BEST!!!! We ordered a small ceasar to share and it was really good, just wasn't expecting to see it was $9 on the bill. Still decent size though!!! If you love pizza then I recommend this place!!!!  Dont overload it with toppings, they pair everything so well already.

Review 2:

People who know pizza have most likely heard of Grimaldi's. I've eaten at their flagship restaurant, the original location in NYC. I've also dined in the Charleston, SC spot and most recently on a trip to Tampa decided to hit Grimaldi's when I saw there was one nearby. I think the pizza is pretty consistent from location to location although the NYC spot might have been a little better than the others to be honest. I had a good experience here in Tampa though. I was sat quickly, received a drink fast, my server was knowledgeable and provided helpful suggestions. I ordered a margarita pizza, add pepperoni. Crust was crisp, very little flop, sauce tasted fresh, very tangy. The basil really enhanced the meal and made it feel more light. Love the mozzarella they use. Not sure if its fresh mozz or what but it has a great melt and texture to it. Thicker style, natural casing pepperoni make those glorious little cups of grease. This location has a sizeable dining room, can accommodate large parties, has a decent size bar, and outdoor seating if you can manage the Florida heat. I have no problems with this Grimaldi's, I would come back on my next visit. I really want to try the white pizza now because I've only ever tried the red. Anyways, good job Grimalidi's Tampa, you nailed it.

Review 3:

I stopped by here for lunch for the first time. It is located at Westshore Mall next to Dicks Sporting Goods. The decor was lovely with an old school New York feel with cool light fixtures made of old wine bottles. Food: The caprese salad was delicious. The mozzarella tasted fresh. We ordered an 18 inch traditional pizza with a quarter portion with meatballs. We asked the pizza to be baked not too crispy. The pizza turned out perfectly. It wasn't over cooked or greasy. I would recommend this pizza place. It originated from Brooklyn, NY and my Italian friends who are New Yorkers came with me for lunch and they love this place. And I have to agree too! Tip: Sign up for their email. And on your birthday, they'll give you a coupon. I think the welcome initial email is $5 off your purchase. And on your birthday month, it's a free pizza?
