Review 1:

Definitely worth another visit to this neighborhood-like restaurant tucked away in the back of Edgewood Village. The Village...where parking is a mess because of too many wonderful establishments. Recommendation: ride share. You won't find New York or Chicago here. You'll likely find your table closer to southern Italy. The menu is full, yet reasonably limited to what the house seems to do best: simplicity and tradition. There are no build your own options. Not even a pepperoni. There's little (if any) American influence on this menu. The wood-fired oven delivers rustic calzone and pizza with thin, glutinous, chewy crust that's good enough to be offered alone as bread with your salad. The simplicity of Margherita pizza is present even on the calzone (of which there is only one.) We strolled in just before 5 pm on a Saturday. The weekend hadn't ramped up just yet, so a table for two was no problem. Some 30 minutes later most of the tables were full. If you have to wait...do it.

Review 2:

Charming little pizzeria in the Edgehill area with an inviting and cozy atmosphere.  Parking can be a challenge (we usually use the pay lot across the street but street parking is also available depending on time of your visit), but the meal is worth it.  Also, for first-timers it can be a bit hard to find since it is positioned on an alley off of the main street. On our most recent visit, I had the margherita pizza and my husband had the prosciutto sandwich.  In our opinion, the pizza is some of the best in town.  And my husband raved about the sandwich which included thick layers of prosciutto, eggplant, and mozzarella. The menu is somewhat limited in that there are very few seafood options (mussels and fried calamari appear to be the only choices), and the wine options are limited as well.  But if you're in the mood for pizza or a hearty pasta for date night, you won't be disappointed!

Review 3:

Folks this is an awesome pizzeria/restaurant that deserves 5 stars easily.  I'm Italian from Lake Como and this is the real deal.  Note that all Italians (read the Italian reviews) give this 5 stars.  That's because Paolo and Massimo are from Napoli and you can taste it in their food.  This was my first time here (I currently live in Scottsdale, AZ) and I had the garden salad which was perfect with flavorful lettuce and good ingredients. Next I had the classic Pizza margherita and it was perfect Napolitana--delicious mozzarella, flavorful tomato sauce, fresh basil, chewy moist crust, burnt around the edges irregularly.  If I lived in Nashville I would come once a week.  They have some excellent Italian wines at good prices. Finally, the setting couldn't be more beautiful.  You can sit inside in the midst of dark brick--almost pub like and the outside is light and in a quaint alley. Ben fatto a Massimo e Paolo.  Tornerò quando mi trovo a Nashville!
