Review 1:

So, I've been to Rosati's twice in the last week. This location appears to be take-out only, with no dining room, so my comments will strictly be related to the quality of the pizza. I vividly remember my first Chicago deep dish pizza experience, which was in the summer of 1998 at the original Gino's pizza location in downtown Chicago. That has been the measuring stick that I've used ever since then, because Gino's remains my all-time favorite pizza. I was curious to see if Rosati's would de-throne the champ. On both occasions, I had Rosati's "double crust" offering. Double crust is basically the same consistency as what the big pizza chains refer to as Hand Tossed, although the double crust from Rosati's may be a tad thicker. My pizza was cut into square slices, which was a nice departure from the usual triangular slices. Overall, I really enjoyed the pizza, but Gino's is still firmly at the top of the food chain. I ordered a sausage, pepperoni, mushroom and green pepper. The Italian sausage is definitely a chunkier type of sausage, rather than crumbled, so just be prepared for that. I recommend you give Rosati's a try. It's a very filling and satisfying pizza, and it's most certainly a welcome change from the legions of cardboard-pizza offerings that have inundated the central Indiana market.

Review 2:

It hit the spot when we were in the mood for pizza. Rosati's speciality is Chicago-style deep-dish pizza, but we didn't get that kind because it's not really "pizza," and we were in the mood for pizza. (Chicago-style pizza is more like a sauce, bread and cheese casserole. Don't @ me.) We opted for their typical crust, which they call "double dough." They also have thin crust. One of my children said it was the best pizza he had ever had in his life, so there you go. As for the adults in the house, we thought it was very tasty, but the crust wasn't our particular preference. I like the edges of my crust to be super soft and chewy, and this crust had more of a bite to it. They also cut the extra-large pizzas into SQUARES, so triangle-lovers (like me) should be aware. The people who work there are all extremely courteous and professional, and my pizza came out relatively quickly, considering I visited them on opening day. One thing you should know is that Rosati's is a delivery and carry-out place only. There are no tables or places to sit here. So get your food to go. Speaking of to-go: They also have a refrigerator case with readymade deep-dish pizzas (cheese and pepperoni) that you can buy and heat up yourself. They also have tiramisu and gelato to go.

Review 3:

Today I ordered Rosati's pizza for the first time in 27 yrs. I haven't had Rosati's since I moved here from Chicago . I ordered online which was very user friendly.  I ordered an 18" Italian sausage,  Italian Beef, green pepper and mushrooms along with extra cheese on my thin crust pizza. Fantastic! Delivery was ahead of schedule on a Saturday night and the delivery driver was friendly and courteous. Fantastic flavor, sauce, crust, ingredients! The only reason I gave 4 stars vs. 5 stars is there could have been more Italian beef on the pizza in ratio to the other ingredients.  I will definitely be ordering from Rosati's again; spot - on match to what I remember. Chicago has many pizza joints that are great leaving many people taking pizza for granted up there. Down here in NapTown, we don't have that luxury so when we find a great pizza place, we appreciate it. Great job to Rosati's and it's staff.
