When I think pizza, Mellow mushroom immediately stands out amongst its competitors! This business has been around for a few years as far as I can remember and for good reason to! I am so used to the colonial location, it was nice to come the winter park location as I was in the area. The decor is similar yet not the same. Still feel the psychedelic vibes here. Our server was great and the food was all served fresh and proportionately. If you subscribe to their email you get a free order of pretzel bites. Totally worth it! Served with fresh Mariana sauce and beer cheese. What a treat! Now the best part! The Za! The triangular treat, The utmost desirable of baked goods. PIZZA! Mellow mushroom uses wonderful dough that complements just about all of their pizza. I have yet to have a complaint here, which is worth mentioning. The cheese can have that cartoon stretchiness that you only hope exists on real life pizza. Most options are great ! We decided to go with a half buffalo and half veg out. They do not skimp on the toppings here. This is very desirable thing amongst pizza suppliers. The buffalo isn't overwhelmingly spicy. Don't be intimidated. The drizzle really adds to the overall taste accomplishes. Delicious!

This is my first visit to this location. It will probably not be my last. Our waitress that day, and sorry I cannot remember her name was absolutely fabulous. When I went to check in on Yelp, I noticed there is a check in offer. Free pretzel bites. The cheese dip that comes with these pretzel bites has a little into beer to it, absolutely wonderful. There was more than enough to go around. My wife and I, we split a Greek salad. Again, very tasty. Upon my son's suggestion, we ordered a Holy Shiitake pizza. It was very good, and even tasted better the next day with fried eggs. This is not your typical Italian style pizzeria. They do artisan style pizzas, and they have taken it to a whole new level. Will definitely be coming back to this location. All the people that we encountered that they were absolutely wonderful. The only negative, the parking lot is a little tight. I drive a big four-door sedan, and I opted to park in the shopping center next-door. Other than that, a great experience.

Visually interesting atmosphere with great music playing (Pixies, Radiohead, etc.) Friendly staff. Pretzel bites were chewy, tender and delicious! I love how they are loaded with parmesan, and the beer cheese is thick and flavorful. Got the loaded potato pie. The potatoes were perfectly cooked and crispy. The sour cream /spicy ranch sauces were generously drizzled and gave a lot of flavor up to the crust. I think my favorite part of their pizza might BE the crust. I'm not a big crust person to begin with, but I could NEVER waste a crust that good! It's cooked perfectly... a combination of soft and fluffy, chewy, with a crispy exterior! It's also generously sprinkled with parmesan. Honestly the best crust I've had, and one of the best pizzas I've had. Great selection of beers also. Try Mcstagger! I have no complaints about this place, but I do have a lot of admiration for them!
