Review 1:

Fireside Pizza is my go-to pizza in town. I like the environment and the staff are always friendly, approachable, and attentive. The vibe is really fun too, its in an old firehouse and it has wooden bench booths and long tables. They have stand up and trivia here too, but I usually stumble upon them by accident rather than on purpose. Their pizza is the reason for my visits, obviously. I like their variety and their pizza sauce, which comes off as a deep tomato paste with a little spice, rather than a sweet version that other restaurants have. Their dough is chewy in a way that shows how fresh it is, and its never too thick, imitating my favorite style, Neapolitan. I like to get a Mediterranean style pizza but their meat pizzas are also good, my favorite being the Red Leg. Lastly I'll add they have tables outside and you can buy canned beer for an in-house or to-go price, which I appreciate because I've picked up a pizza and a 6-pack without having to stop elsewhere. Parking is free and across the street in a parking lot. I've never felt unsafe leaving my car there. Now you can walk to Comfort Station if you want, too!

Review 2:

Fireside has a social atmosphere with long picnic style tables and benches and a operable garage that is propped open to the street in the summer months.  This seems to be the type of place where folks sit and hang out, play games, and have long chats. Pizza can be ordered QuickServe-style at the bar, where you'll pay upfront and be given a VHS cassette box placard so that your order can be delivered to your table. On a recent visit my date and I split the Greek Pie.  This was a tasty thin-crust pizza that is enhanced with the addition of the spicy oil which can be found on each table. I would like to go back and try some of their other pizzas in the summer months.

Review 3:

The pizza here is always fantastic, and I am glad they have gluten-free crusts available (and seem to have been properly trained on how to cook them). This place seems ahead of the curve in taking a chance on a neighborhood that is slowly being revitalized. My only minor complaint is that it can get a bit loud sometimes, especially if a group with microphones and speakers is set up. Totally fine for some people, but a bit much for someone like me who is usually just looking for a quiet night out. I will definitely be returning plenty, however, and would recommend it to others!
