Review 1:

Exceptional pizza. Just exceptional. I am normally a thin crust kind of guy, but will totally chow down on some Ranch pizza whenever possible. These pies are one foot by one foot square, semi thick crust. We've had the "Meat Tornado" 3x now, which is pepperoni, bacon, house-made Italian sausage, whole milk aged mozzarella, red sauce, Pecorino-Romano and fresh basil. We've had the "#4" twice - Sausage, ricotta, Calabrian chilies, whole milk aged mozzarella, red sauce, Pecorino Romano and fresh basil. The "Meat Tornado" feels like a classic meat lovers kind of pie, and it is super tasty. The "#4" is really a unique take. The surprise element here, I think, are the Calabrian chilies. I don't believe I've ever had these before and they really elevate this pie to a new level. They aren't super spicy, but you might just have some flop sweat on the old noggin' before you are done. Also- pies here come with sides of Ranch, cuz, you know... its the name of the place. And I'm not normally a Ranch aficionado, but it really compliments the pizza nicely here. Uh oh, I've got to go get a napkin. Just thinking about these delicious pies has me drooling a bit now. "Honey, what's for dinner? What's that? You got no idea? Lets go to Ranch!!!"

Review 2:

Okay just had a cheat weekend (don't judge), and finished off with dinner last night with pizza from Ranch Pizza. BF had gone here previously and really loved the pizza, so I was anxious to give it a try (and I hadn't eaten pizza in a while). I normally love thin crust pizza, but this deep dish pizza was so so good. The crust isn't heavy like Chicago deep dish pizza - this crust is thick, but it's airy and has a nice crunch. They also have a good selection of toppings, but not too many, so it's not over whelming like some places. We got two different kinds:  the Meat Volcano and the #4. The Meat Volcano has pepperoni, bacon and sausage, and it was really good, but I loved the #4. It's a great combo of flavors:  House-made sausage, ricotta, Calabrian chilis, mozzarella, red sauce, Pecorino Romano, and fresh basil. I loved the chilis - they were slightly sweet and had a nice amount of heat. I will definitely order the #4 again. Decent amount of seating inside and out, and street parking, but easy to find (next to Tamale Boy). Love that Ranch Pizza is in my neighborhood and we have another pizza option nearby, that's also different. *I also talked to one of the employees, and he said they are opening a second location soon, near NW 23rd.

Review 3:

It's hard to impress me when it comes to pizza.  Pizza is just something I do.  It would be like trying to impress the late great Hugh Heffner with any naked chick out there.  So when I saw their list of pizzas and came to their Hawaiian pizza...that had spam on it, I was floored!  I mean the other toppings were pretty legit too...pineapple, scallions and chili oil all can hold on their own with any other protein but we're talking about spam!  I didn't care that I was all by myself and that I had to order a whole pizza just to get it, I knew I was going to eat this square deep dish pizza no matter what!  When I finally got the pizza in my hand, I couldn't wait to even let it cool down, I had a slice out of the box as I walked back to my vehicle to take home.  But I couldn't even start the car before I had another two slices.  Dude, the pizza was so freaking good and it just blew my mind!  It would have been like Hugh Heffner reliving his first ever Playboy bunny.
