OH Pizza and Brew has a couple locations, but we want to focus on the one on Broad Street. They’re open late on the weekend (until 2pm) and will often attract a crowd of people who have recently stumbled out on of the many Columbus bars nearby. This pizzeria is a great option for Ohio State students or anybody else who might find themselves out on the town late at night in Columbus.

Review 1:
First time visiting, pretty bad since I have lived in Columbus my whole life. Very convenient location for events at The Place Theater. Small but nice draft craft beer list. Small menu, that Gordon would love. Small restaurant with awesome people watching windows. They have 6 booths, 6 tables and a long bar with about 12 stools. We started off with a couple of CBC IPA's. Ordered some traditional wings, 5 each for me and 5 for my man. I got Japanese Teriyaki and my man got Sweaty Neck (hot buffalo). I can tell you that it smells amazing. I cannot wait for the wings to arrive. Amazing...didn't have any problem eating them all. Teriyaki was great, not too much sauce or f li flavor and not too hot. Can't say the same for my man's...sweaty neck, forehead, upper lip...great thing we had the beer to cool us down...then off to the show....

Whoever categorized this place as a sports bar should update that. There are no TVs to watch any sports. We came on a Friday night around 9pm. It wasn't too crowded but you could tell that they had a lot of take out orders. There were no beer menus. That seemed strange to be because the word "brew" is in the name of the place. There weren't many beers on tap, and I was disappointed in the amount of Ohio beers available. Our server was very nice and friendly, but if you're in a rush, this is not the place to go. It takes quite a while to get your pizza, which is strange because pizza itself doesn't take a long time to cook. We ordered the Mac Daddy and the Murphy pizzas. The sriracha drizzle on the Mac daddy was very healthy so if you don't like spicy stay away. It was an okay pizza. The nacho cheese seemed placed on the pasta instead of mixed into it, which caused it to just fall off the crust. The Murphy was better. The fried potatoes are French fries (not sliced friend potatoes like I imagined). That was also okay. We got a free funnel cake by checking in on yelp. It was the best part of the meal. Save room for it. So overall, it's not a bad place. But it's just okay.
Review 3:
We've had delivery from OH Pizza and Brew a couple of times now, and we've been wowed both times. The first time, we split a Murphy pizza, which is basically like a deconstructed baked potato on a pizza. Other than being a little oily, it was memorable...so when we had a number of friends over last night, we decided to turn to OH Pizza and Brew once more. This time, we ordered the Murphy, as well as a Kauai pizza, which is essentially a take on a Hawaiian, with capicola as well as the usual ham and pineapple. Since one of our guests is a vegetarian, we also got a small Veggie Lovers pizza too. Our friends were all used to ordering from the chain restaurants, and after eating a slice of the Murphy, one was heard to say "Oh, so *that's* why it's worth spending the extra money on a good pizza..." And I really can't think of a better endorsement than that. The Murphy was completely devoured, and the Veggie Lovers was scarfed down as well. I personally loved the Kaua'i, but given that a few slices remained after our get-together, I suspect that our friends have strong feelings about pineapple on a pizza. Their loss, my lunch. Ultimately, OH Pizza and Brew is great pizza, though I can't deny that the price is a little prohibitive despite the quality. I also wish they did their own delivery, but it seems as though that long-running trend of in-house delivery drivers is going the way of the dodo. All that being said, now that we've had a couple of enjoyable orders from OH Pizza and Brew, I can't see why we wouldn't keep ordering from them from now on.
